The mysterious DIOR gown

Occasionally we see "mystery" items at Wallflower Vintage this gorgeous blue velvet gown was one of them.

Told it was a Dior runway gown and arriving with Dior Boutique opera gloves from the 80s, we found no other information about the gown except for some mysterious tags written in a European script.

So, dear readers, is anyone familiar with these tags, this gown, or any other circumstances pertaining to this little lovely? Who doesn't like a mystery?

An Ode to Spring

The robins harmonize, heralding in spring as the days slowly get longer. The spring peepers join in the chorus uniting with the chipmunks until the symphony erupts in a cacophony of sound.

A solitary fee patiently surveys the coming of a new season.

Romantic Christmas

A romantic holiday starts with the perfect dress from Wallflower Vintage, followed by the perfect accessories. The gauntlets (cuffs) are from Angelinadesign.
The HOT, HOT bottoms are from Opal Moon Designs and the scrumptious cross necklace is from Lillitth's Ghost - also on Etsy.
The wonderfully witty parasol is from Nanalulu's Linen Closet.

Make the holidays magical.

Taking no Chances

Let's say your date decides to stick around.

May we suggest a lovely tulle gown and an alibi?

Audrey Hepburn Clothing Auction

Audrey Hepburn

On December 8, 2009 Sotheby's London auctioned off a selection of dresses and gowns worn by the fabulous Audrey Hepburn. The black lace cocktail dress worn in the 1966 movie "How to Steal a Million" sold for a whopping $100,000.00!

Channel your inner Audrey with a gorgeous dress from Wallflower Vintage. And you won't have to steal a million to look fantastic!

A Story

A blushing beauty emerges, skyscraper heels the color of sun-ripened cherries, a rhinestone bangle glistens in the ring of light formed by the streetlamps, echoed in intensity only by the raging river flowing unabashedly on the city's edge and guarded by menacingly fierce dogs in hues of crimson.

1950s Glam

Winter. Dark nights. Snow. Candlelight. Fantasy. Howling winds. Warm hearths. Ghosts. Fairy tales.

A chance to be as mysterious as winter: a frothy strapless lace frock. Elegant opera gloves and a gorgeous mink stole. Add a touch of Cherries in the Snow red, red, lipstick and a feminine pearl hair piece to complete the look.
